It’s Teacher Appreciation Week at NTCA
 Dear NTCA Community,

Teacher Appreciation Week for NTCA is May 8-12 (this week).

Our teachers and staff do an amazing job of educating and loving our children.  Please join me in showing them how grateful that we are for them.

Bring a note of thanks to your teacher – this can be written by students  and/or parents.

Coffee and donuts will be provided in the morning by parents, and lunch will be provided by the PTF Committee.  Monetary donations of $2 per student are appreciated to offset the parents’ expenses and can be given to Joy Beach by Thursday, May 11.

Bring classroom supplies to replenish those consumed during the year. Suggestions are:  sticky notes, dry erase markers, pencils, pens, gift cards to Target/Michael’s/Office Depot, etc..

Bring your teacher his/her favorite candy bar.  Student Council will be selling candy bars for $1.50 each at carpool on Friday morning if you would like to support their fundraising efforts and save yourself a trip to the store.

Let’s make this a great week of appreciation for our teachers. They work so hard for each and every student and are such wonderful servants of God.

Please contact me at and 972-333-6536 (cell) if you would like to contribute to the efforts for this week.

Jules Ellis, President, Parent Teacher Friend Committee

It’s Camping Week in KR
This week in KR, students will be reviewing their colors, and counting, while going ‘fishing’ this week.  They will also be working on listening to directions while coloring some camping pages.  They will get to have centers in the tent that is set up in the classroom.  And, they will be making s’more words near the campfire.  Since the students earned a cougar paw party for great behavior, they will be eating s’mores on Thursday!

Save the Date – May 20th, 2017
